Carbon offers personal loans through its Nigeria app. Its terms identify Carbon Microfinance Bank Limited as the contracting provider, while its loan page describes the current product. This Finpanda profile is independent: we do not take a Carbon application or receive payment for this page.
Where to check the current cost
Carbon’s public loan page displays a representative example and a range of possible loan sizes and terms. Those figures are advertising information, not your personal quote. Its terms allow Carbon to assess each applicant and vary terms. Before accepting, compare the money disbursed, interest basis, processing or other fees, due dates, total repayment and late-payment charges in the actual agreement.
There is a detail worth checking carefully: the public loan page says there are no hidden fees, while the published terms describe a processing fee on application. Ask Carbon to explain which charges apply to your specific request and save the answer with the written offer.
Identity, app and repayment
Use Carbon’s official app or website rather than an ad or message that asks you to send documents elsewhere. Review the app’s data requests and the support route in its terms. If you are comparing an instalment offer, sum every scheduled payment and check whether an early or late payment changes the cost.
How this compares with other routes
Carbon also publishes SME lending terms, which is a different borrowing purpose from a personal cash loan. Our business-loan guide explains what to compare for a firm. For an alternative advertising partner on Finpanda, read the separate CashX profile; its offer is not a Carbon application.
